Haselton Appointed Staff Engineer at MBMA
July 08, 2003 - CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Justin R. Haselton has been appointed staff engineer for the Metal Building Manufacturers Association (MBMA), according to Dr. W. Lee Shoemaker, P.E., the association's director of research and engineering. Haselton will assist Dr. Shoemaker in coordinating and administering all MBMA research and technical projects.

QUESTware Corp. Named New MBMA Associate Member
June 18, 2003 - CLEVELAND The Metal Building Manufacturers Association has named QUESTware Corp., of Hendersonville, Tenn., a new associate member. QUESTware specializes in the development of technical software, with an emphasis on the metal building industry. The company’s software products include such features as design, pricing, erection and fabrication drawings, quote tracking and job tracking.

Design Components, Inc., Named New
May 16, 2003 - CLEVELAND The Metal Building Manufacturers Association has named Design Components, Inc., of Fayetteville, Ga., a new associate member. For nearly 30 years, Design Components, Inc., has been involved in the design, engineering and distribution of a variety of accessories to the metal building and metal roofing industries.

Birmingham Fastener Named New MBMA Associate Member
March 20, 2003 - CLEVELAND The Metal Building Manufacturers Association (MBMA) has named Birmingham Fastener, Inc., of Hanceville, Ala., a new associate member. Birmingham Fastener manufactures and distributes a complete range of fasteners used in the construction of metal building systems. "Joining the MBMA is a great opportunity to work toward the shared success of the entire metal building systems industry," said Brad Tinney, vice president of sales at Birmingham Fastener.

Tremco, Inc., Named New MBMA Associate Member
March 05, 2003 - CLEVELAND The Metal Building Manufacturers Association (MBMA) has named Tremco, Inc., Beachwood, Ohio, a new associate member. Since 1928, Tremco has offered a complete range of building sealants and services to architects, engineers, contractors and building owners. The company’s products include sealants and weatherproofing, commercial glazing, firestopping, residential windows and products for original equipment manufacturers.

February 19, 2003 - MBMA Bestows Manufacturer Safety Awards CLEVELAND, Ohio, Promoting exceptional safety efforts within the metal building and metal roofing manufacturing industries, the Metal Building Manufacturers Association (MBMA) recently announced the winners of its 2002 Safety Awards.
